Hello! I am wondering how to work with HTC Advantage 7510 in the Disk Drive mode(Not ActiveSync)? This is the mode when the PDA operates like a flash card (at least it is like this in Windows). When I connect my HTC to desktop with Mac OS X 10.4.11. nothing happens, the desktop simply does not see the HTC. I can reach the HTC via Bluetooth but it is not a good way to transfer big files such as movies. I also do not have Missing Sync (or similar program) installed on Mac OS but I suggest that it shall not be needed when the HTC is in Disk Drive Mode, right? Any advice will be much appreciated. It seems pretty confusing since we’ve been using windows but Mac’s approach of adding a network location is a series of tad straightforward steps. Here’s how you’ll add a network location on Mac. 'Adding/Mapping' a Network Drive Step 1 Open ‘Finder’ Click ‘Finder’ from the dock of your Mac. The finder window will appear on your. However, after the many many hours that I put into this, all the glitches are gone from the OS and the apps A clean install, followed by reinstalling all the software either from install discs, and/or fresh downloads directly from the sites is the best way to go as far quick and easy goes, and then transfering pic, documents, music, etc manually.

I have a Macbook Pro now that is having issues. I just got a new one and want to transfer all my pics, music, docs, and programs.
My question:
How can I transfer it over so that all my photo albums stay in the right catagory, all my music is transferred with the play counter, and how to make sure all files stay intact. I do have time machine and it is backed up on there but I know it wont keep the photo albums or the playlist in my iTunes.
Also will the bad software issues transfer over too?
